30,420 Pfizer vaccine doses arrive in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN de Oro received 5,070 vials or 30,420 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus disease (Covid-19) vaccines Tuesday, October 19, 2021.

With the arrival of the new batch of Pfizer vaccines, the city's vaccination team urged residents 18 years old and above to receive their doses.

From October 19 to 22, the City opened the barangay-based vaccination sites in Macabalan National High School, Cogon Public Market, Tablon Elementary School, and West City Central School.

The mega vaccination sites in SM CDO Downtown Premier, SM City Cagayan de Oro, Limketkai, and City Mall-Iponan have remained open.

As of October 17, a total of 481,366 individuals have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro City.

Of the 481,366 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 281,626 got their first dose of the vaccines, while 199,740 were fully vaccinated.

Among the 481,366 vaccinees, 376,621 were vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites and 104,745 were vaccinated in Cagayan de Oro hospitals.

Of the 376,621 individuals vaccinated in City-run vaccination sites, 30,494 were frontline healthcare workers, 56,636 were senior citizens, 89,472 were persons with comorbidities, 175,861 were essential frontline workers, 19,287 were from the A5 priority group and 4,871 were from the Filipino-Chinese community.
