54 Kagay-anons contract Covid-19

THE cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Cagayan de Oro has reached 19,247 after 54 more residents tested positive for the virus.

According to the City Health Office, of the 54 new local cases, 37 were local index cases, seven were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, eight were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), one Apor with link, and one mortality.

Cagayan de Oro now has 3,580 active cases, 674 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,889 were outpatients, and 17 ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered 194 new coronavirus-positive persons who were now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 14,846.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city has now reached 821 in total.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated coronavirus-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,624, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,624 vaccinees, 2,885 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 867 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 304 with Pfizer, 274 with Sputnik V, 270 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, and 18 with Moderna.
