Cagayan de Oro logs 19 new Covid-19 cases, 30 recoveries

NINETEEN residents of Cagayan de Oro have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the city to 3,279.

Of the 3,279 total Covid-19 cases, 418 are under the returning overseas Filipino workers/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs) category and 2,861 cases are local transmissions.

Cagayan de Oro has recorded 369 active cases, 120 of whom are admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 247 outpatients, and two ROFs/LSIs.

The city also registered 30 new coronavirus-positive persons who are now tagged as "recovered." This brought the total number of recoveries in Cagayan de Oro to 2,745.

Of the figure, 299 are LSIs, 116 are ROFs and 2,330 are local cases (community: 1,968; Apors: 362).

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is at 165.
