A TOTAL of 130 households have been visited by contact tracers in the contained area of Zone 9, Sitio Macanhan, Barangay Carmen, Cagayan de Oro, where four Covid-19 cases have been recorded.

Of the individuals traced, only one manifested flu-like symptoms, according to Dr. Lorraine Nery, head of the City Government's Operations Center.

She said the individual is already under their care and given proper medication. On initial findings, the individual is stable.

The two Covid-19 patients from Macanhan are the daughter and husband of the deceased woman who first caught the disease from the same sitio. The two asymptomatic patients are quarantined at the city isolation unit.

The fourth Covid-19 case from the sitio is the family's neighbor, who is also at the isolation unit. The patient is said to have had occasional cough.

Cagayan de Oro has a total 14 confirmed cases with five active cases.

The two other active cases are the locally stranded individuals from Cebu City. One is admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, while the other one, an asymptomatic patient, is at an isolation facility. (PJO)
