Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro City now at 13,152

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City reached 13,152 after 104 residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded 103 new Covid-19 cases, three of whom are returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs) and 100 are local cases.

This brought the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 17,245.

Of the 100 new local cases, 61 were local index cases, 18 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, eight were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), five were Apors with link, and eight mortalities.

Cagayan de Oro City logged 3,452 active cases, 875 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,566 were outpatients, and 11 were ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 741.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 3,601, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 3,601 vaccinees, 2,259 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 687 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 242 with Pfizer, 204 with Sputnik V, 199 with Janssen, four with Sinopharm, and six Moderna.

Of the 2,259 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 1,782 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 326 were asymptomatic, 144 were moderate cases, and seven were severe cases.

Among the 687 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 512 individuals had mild symptoms, 124 were asymptomatic, 48 had moderate symptoms, and three were severe cases.
