Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro now at 15,680

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City continued growing, reaching 15,680 after 212 residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded 47 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 19,499.

Of the 47 new local cases, 19 were local index cases, five were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 15 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), five were Apors with link, one person deprived of liberty (PDL), and two mortalities.

The City Health Office also noted a continuous decline of active cases in the city, logging in a cumulative number of 2,992 active cases.

Of figure, 569 were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 2,406 were outpatients, and 17 were ROFs/LSIs.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 827.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 4,766, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 4,766 vaccinees, 2,969 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 897 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 313 with Pfizer, 280 with Sputnik V, 281 with Janssen, six with Sinopharm, and 20 with Moderna.
