Leo Rey Yanson back as CEO of Mindanao's bus company

THE Mindanao Star Bus Transport Inc. and the Bachelor Express Inc., both sister companies of Vacallar Transit Inc., had their annual stockholders' meeting last weekend, wherein Leo Rey Yanson was re-appointed as president and CEO of the companies.

Olivia Yanson, the matriarch of the Yanson family, on the other hand, was appointed as the treasurer and corporate secretary.

The Mindanao Star Bus Transport stockholders elected Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Dummancas, Charles Dumancas, Arvin John Villaruel, and Rey Ardo as members of the board of directors.

Bachelor Express stockholders, meanwhile, re-elected matriach Olivia Yanson, Leo Rey Yanson, Ginnette Dumancas, Charles Dumancas, Arvin John Villaruel, Rey Ardo, Anita Chua, Daniel Nicolas Golez, Danny Lorenton, Hernan Omecillo and Alfredo Ligo Jr. as members of their board of directors.

The Bachelor Express board of directors also assured that they will be "continuously striving to give the utmost service to the riding public" in Mindanao, especially the routes being served in Butuan and Davao.

Mindanao Star Bus Transport Inc. and Bachelor Express Inc. are part of the Yanson Group of Bus Companies that operate all throughout the Philippines including in the cities of Bacolod, Iloilo, Dumaguete, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan, Davao, Pagadian, Dipolog, Bohol and Batangas.
