A VIRAL video showing a traffic law enforcer proposing to her girlfriend under the flyover at the intersection of Julio-Pacana and C.M. Recto Avenue, Cagayan de Oro City, has made the rounds of social media.

The 28-year-old Thirdy Angeles, a member of the Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA), has asked his five-month girlfriend to marry him last June 15.

The video was shot and posted by Angeles' fellow traffic aide and has been shared and viewed thousand times.

In the 35-second video, the girl was supposedly caught for violation of beating the red light but she was surprised when Angeles came forward and asked her hands on bended knees. And, she said yes.

“Mao gyud to ang plano para unique unya kulba man diay,” Angeles said.

Angeles said he planned to accomplish the plan during noon time and on a holiday so that traffic flow in the area remains unhampered.

He added he has been detailed at the area for about six months and he is already familiar with the traffic situation.

“Dugay naman ko na-assign diha and medyo control na nako and holiday man sad to ug udto man sad so mingaw ug para dili mabalda ang traffic,” he said.

After five months of dating, Angeles plans to settle down with his 31-year-old partner, next year.
