Misamis Oriental Covid-19 cases now at 43

FOUR new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases were recorded in Misamis Oriental, two of whom are locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and two are returning overseas Filipino workers (ROFs).

This brings the total confirmed cases in the province to 43.

The 40th case involves a 36-year-old male LSI from Manila and a resident of Balingasag town. He arrived in the province via plane on July 2.

The 41st case is a 36-year-old male ROF from Saudi Arabia and a resident of Balingasag town. The man arrived at the Laguindingan Airport on July 3.

The 42nd case is a 36-year-old male ROF from Saudi Arabia and a resident of Alubijid town. He arrived at the Laguindingan Airport on July 10.

The 43rd case is a 21-year-old male LSI from Manila and a resident of Manticao town. He arrived in the province via plane on July 12.

As of July 22, of the 43 confirmed cases, 18 are LSIs, 19 are ROFs, three are Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs) and three are local cases.

These cases are recorded in Tagoloan (8), Gingoog City (8), Villanueva (5), Claveria (4), Naawan (3), Laguindingan (2), Alubijid (2), Jasaan (2), Kinoguitan (2), Balingasag (2), Initao (1), Libertad (1), Opol (1), Balingoan (1) and Manticao (1).
