MOC Enterprises gets DOST-Setup assistance

OROQUIETA CITY--Before Women’s Month celebration ends, two women-led micro, small and medium enterprises in Misamis Occidental signed the Memorandum of Agreement (Moa) on March 22, 2019, for the onset of Department of Science and Technology’s technical assistance through its Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (Setup).

D’ Hermanos Pizza, Spanish words for The Brothers’ Pizza, came into business after the realization of a hobby, while MVL Rice Mill is into producing milled rice.

This Moa signing activity is one of the many indicators that just like men, women can also become active drivers in bringing pragmatic and positive changes in the business environment.

The two firms have this in common: both are led by women. However, the two have noted that in order for their business to move forward, more than equality and equity, it takes a partnership with their spouses.

Furthermore, one should anchor in science and technology to cope with the fleet-footed game named change. (Rogelyn C. Calago/PR)
