A 70-YEAR-OLD motorcycle driver was killed after crashing into a pick-up truck loaded with lumber along Sayre Highway in Don Carlos, Bukidnon over the weekend.

The victim was identified as Pantalion Minao.

Investigation disclosed that the motorcycle and the pick-up truck, driven by Ramon Lozano Jr., 53, of Maramag town, were traveling in opposite direction.

The motorcycle accidentally hit the left side of the truck, causing it to stumble on the ground.

Police said Minao sustained fatal head injuries. He was rushed to a hospital but he died shortly.

The truck driver allegedly fled the area after the accident, but he was arrested later in Sinangguyan, Don Carlos town.

Lozano is now detained and will likely face charges.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N.
