Over 24,000 doses administered in Oro on 1st day of national vax drive

A TOTAL of 24,448 doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered during the first day of the national vaccination rollout in Cagayan de Oro, according to the City Health Office.

City Health Office medical officer Dr. Ted Yu said they aim to vaccinate 22,000 people each day during the three-day National Vaccination Days from November 29 to December 1, 2021.

As of November 29, the total number of individuals who have received their doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in Cagayan de Oro was at 773,026.

Of the 773,026 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 463,105 got their first dose of the vaccines, 309,218 were fully vaccinated, and 709 got their booster shots.

According to the said report, among the 773,026 vaccinees, 59,991 were frontline healthcare workers, 74,024 were senior citizens, 137,352 were persons with comorbidities, 342,352 were essential frontline workers, 37,695 were from the A5 priority group, 81,759 were from the ROAP group, and 39,649 were from pedia A3 and ROPP groups.
