Recovery rate in Cagayan de Oro now at 76.97%

THE City Health Office of Cagayan de Oro has registered 76.97-percent recovery rate after 140 Covid-positive patients have recovered from the virus.

The total number of those who recovered from the disease was at 6,563.

Of the 6,563 recoveries, 315 were locally stranded individuals (LSIs), 124 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and 6,124 were local cases (community: 5,159; Apors: 965).

As of 10 p.m. of June 10, 115 residents of the city tested positive for the novel coronavirus, 31 of which were local cases with link, 11 were local persons outside residence (Apors), 64 were local index cases, seven were persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), and two mortalities, according to Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery.

The total number of confirmed cases in Cagayan de Oro was at 8,526.

Of the 8,526 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 441 were under the ROFs/LSIs category and 8,085 cases were local transmissions.

Cagayan de Oro recorded 1,584 active cases, 394 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 1,189 were outpatients, and one ROF.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was at 379.
