AT least three people were killed while 10 others were injured after a six-wheeler truck bound to Surigao del Sur fell down a deep ravine while traversing the national highway in Salay, Misamis Oriental, Wednesday night, December 19.

Police identified two of the fatalities as Adelyn Libarios and Saro Nasiep. A third fatality was unidentified.

The 10 injured passengers were brought to a nearby hospital.

Initial investigation disclosed that the truck driven by Elmer Correos came from Cagayan de Oro City loaded with 13 passengers and vegetables when it accidentally fell down a ravine upon reaching the accident-prone area.
