SARI patient who died tested negative for Covid-19

ANOTHER patient under investigation (PUI) admitted at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) died Wednesday, April 8.

Dr. Jose Chan, NMMC medical director, said the patient, a resident of Barangay Calaanan, was diagnosed with Severe Acute Respiratory (SARI) but tested negative for Covid-19.

At present, NMMC caters to seven PUIs, two SARI patients, and two remaining Covid-19 positive patients. The Covid-19 positive patients are 67-year-old female from Del Carmen, Iligan City and 67-year-old male from Tubod, Lanao del Norte. Both of them are still waiting for the results of their repeat tests.

Meanwhile, the 71-year-old male Kagay-anon who had his repeat test read negative on Tuesday has been discharged from NMMC on the same day, Chan said.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit.
