ANTI-ILLEGAL drug operatives seized around P600,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) from a woman in a drug bust in Iligan City, Wednesday, February 26.

The drug suspect was identified as Najmah Angantap, 25, resident of Marawi City.

Confiscated from her possession were large sachets of shabu weighing around 100 grams.

Police said the suspect was a newly-identified drug personality as authorities found no previous records of the suspect.

The suspect is now detained and will face drug charges.

Meanwhile, a house helper was arrested for alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade inside a pension house in Valencia City, Bukidnon.

The drug bust resulted to the arrest of Charito Carreon, 33.

Seized from his possession were sachets of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.

Valencia City police chief Lieutenant Colonel Surki Serenas said the suspect was figured in the drug watch list.
