Xavier University has 27 new lawyers

SOME 27 law graduates of the Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan (XU) have now passed the Bar Examination.

Out of 45 takers, 27 passed the examination held in November 2018.

The university achieved a 60 percent passing rate, higher than that of the national passing rate at 22.07 percent.

Ateneo de Manila University graduate Sean James Borja topped the Bar exams with a score of 89.3060%.

Out of the 8,155 aspiring lawyers, only 1,800, passed the 2018 Bar examinations. (PJ Orias)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit.
