TO satisfy Cebuanos’ cravings of Bisaya Food, Cagayan de Oro’s Boy Zugba opened its second branch in Cebu at the second floor of SM City Cebu.

With its concept of “kusina Bisaya”, Boy Zugba serves Bisaya home-cooked meals and an array of grilled food which are generally named in Bisaya.

The restaurant has the feel of a “karenderia,” but with a modern twist, showing its personality as a down-to-earth food destination.

Diners will also enjoy reading a lot of “hugot” and pick-up lines decorated inside the place.

Boy Zugba brings together a range of classic Filipino favorites like kare-kare, chicken inasal, lechon kawali, pinakbet and lumpia, among others.

Their must-try specialties include its own version of chicken barbecue, Cheezzy Chorizo, Sinuglaw de Cagayan and Pancit sa Pulis.

It offers three sets of boodle- Karne-vorous, an all-meat set; I Sea Food, all seafood set; and Meat Me @ Da Sea, a combination of meat and seafood.

Boy Zugba is aimed at students, barkadas and families who want to dine out but at the same time want to feel as if they never left home.

Last month, Cebu welcomed Boy Zugba’s first branch in Cebu at the Central Bloc, IT Park. (CNU Intern Ginalyn Astudillo)
