TO CATER to the underserved micro, small and medium entrepreneurs (MSMEs) in Cebu, Globe myBusiness has installed a special business corner at its Globe store in Ayala Center Cebu to help this sector with its digital needs.

Cleo Santos, sales head for Globe myBusiness, acknowledged the MSMEs’ economic contribution, noting that this sector accounts for 99.5 percent of business operations.

“We recognize the big contribution of MSMEs in driving our economy’s growth. Globe myBusiness is a trusted digital business partner for Filipino MSMEs, regardless of size, industry, customer or where they are in their business journey,” she said.

The Globe myBusiness corner features digital innovations like the “Robot Globe Information Officer (Gio)” that renders short business assessment to MSMEs. During the session with Gio, the entrepreneurs will be asked to answer a series of questions to help them identify their business’ digital level.

Consultants will be present every Tuesdays to discuss Gio’s assessment with the MSMEs.

Aside from robot Gio, an interactive LED touchscreen was also mounted to determine what solutions may fit the needs of entrepreneurs.

They can also explore other myBusiness solutions such as G Suite, vehicle tracker, auto SMS blaster, prepaid internet and GoCanvas.

Globe myBusiness is the MSME arm of Globe that provides digital solutions to brick and mortar businesses.

“It is our goal to help every enterprise reach their full potential through business tips depending on the industry, lessons from experts of the field and also business solutions tailored to address any business owners needs and requirements,” said Santos.

She said the visibility of the myBusiness corner is critical to Globe since it is the touchpoint of MSMEs especially now that the market is going digital.

“myBusiness corner plays a critical role in serving the needs of MSMEs towards their journey. This is also in line with our goal that we will be the purveyor of MSMEs in ensuring that we will lead them and guide them towards digitalization,” she said.

The Globe myBusiness Corner launched in Ayala Center is the first in the Visayas and Mindanao and the fourth nationwide after Greenbelt 4, Robinsons Galleria and Robinsons Manila. (JOB)
