THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Cebu has launched its 31st Negosyo Center (NC) in Toledo City on Thursday, Oct. 8.

“It is a dream come true to have Negosyo Center City of Toledo,” said Toledo City Mayor Marjorie Perales, adding that Toledo City will be the local arm of the DTI in helping the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) grow their businesses.

Prior to Toledo City, the DTI Cebu launched NC Mandaue City in August and NC Talisay City in September.

DTI-Cebu Officer-in-Charge-Provincial Director Rose Mae Quiñanola said this is the 66th NC in Central Visayas, aimed to promote ease of doing business and facilitating access to services for MSMEs through business registration assistance, business advisory services, business information and advocacy and monitoring and evaluation.

The new NC is also the fourth in the third district of Cebu province. Others are located in Pinamungajan, Balamban and Tuburan.(PR)
