Innovation for Cebu’s industries

CEBU Business Month (CBM) 2018, the month-long annual flagship project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) seeks to highlight the importance of innovation in business.

CBM 2018, which marks the event’s 22nd year, banners the theme “Innovate Cebu” and features activities that would help the business community in Cebu and neighboring islands achieve and sustain growth.

The month-long event aims to inspire, promote, and grow Cebu business by gathering stakeholders to events related to tourism, information and communications technology-business process management (ICT-BPM), entrepreneurship, and creative industries.

“Cebu Business Month’s main objective has always been to inspire, promote, and grow businesses. For this year, many will be able to see and hear the paradigm shift of the businesses through innovation,” said Benny Que, CBM 2018 overall chairman.

According to CCCI president Antonio Chiu, Cebu’s business climate has always been vibrant and has been proven for, with its high gross rate in relation to the rest of the Philippines.

“Cebu Chamber has been taking the lead incoming up of CBM to help and assist and bring experts, not only local, but also foreign to show us what is happening to the world.
