Oakridge opens executive lounge

TO keep up with the competition in providing office spaces, Oakridge Realty Development Corp. has thought of a new way to keep its tenants and attract new ones.

Last Thursday, the company unveiled Oakridge Executive Club, the latest addition to the Oakridge Business Park’s business and events facilities.

Dubbed as the first prestige business club in Cebu, the 1,800-square-meter executive club on the 12th floor of the Oakridge IT Center 2 provides a venue for executives to conduct their meetings in “comfort, convenience, and class” without having to leave the business park.

Oakridge Realty chief executive officer Edmun Liu said the new facility was born out of the company’s desire to honor loyal patrons who have made Oakridge Business Park their home.

“This is our way of showing gratefulness to our locators who have stayed with us,” said Liu.

Oakridge patrons will receive exclusive benefits and privileges as Oakridge Executive Club cardholders. The reward program is a product differentiation to ensure that they remain relevant to the needs of their tenants, given the increasing options in today’s office space market.

Besides catering to the tenants, the lounge is also open to traveling executives and independent professionals. A P1,000 consumable cover charge will be billed to walk-in guests.

Amenities

The executive lounge boasts of a panoramic view of the city. It has three meeting rooms for meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (Mice).

Each meeting room can accommodate some 15 to 30 guests and is equipped with an LCD projector.

The business lounge also has a 14-seat executive boardroom that is equipped with its own projector system, smart TV, overhead speakers, private restroom and a telephone and coffee station.

For larger gatherings of up to 120 guests, the facility offers a 240-square-meter hall for business conferences.

In addition, it offers a dining room that can accommodate up to 70 guests. A dedicated culinary team offers dishes throughout the day from full breakfast to four-course dinners.

On top of tapping the park’s existing locators, Liu sees the executive lounge as the new meeting venue for business travelers.

He noted that with the worsening traffic in the cities of Cebu and Mandaue, business travelers would need a place where they no longer have to hop from one meeting place to another.

“We want this lounge to offer convenience and give our tenants and guests the efficiency they need so they could grow,” said Liu.

Oakridge Business Park is home to various types of industries—creatives, information technology, learning centers and design companies, among others.

The office building where the executive lounge is located is running high in occupancy. Office spaces of this new building are scheduled for turnover to tenants in the second quarter of 2019.
