THE Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has named Michael Cubos, founder of homegrown Performance360 Call Center and BPO Services, as the chairperson of the Cebu Business Month (CBM) in 2020.

CBM is a month-long business activity organized by the CCCI that is celebrated every June. The activity aims to inspire, promote and grow Cebu businesses.

Cubos succeeded entrepreneur Lilu Aliño who was the CBM 2019 chairperson.

Cubos founded Performance360 Global Services, which is the first rural business process management (BPM)company in Cordova, Cebu. He started the BPM business in Davao City with 70 seats in 2013.

After Davao, Cubos expanded his business to Cordova in November 2015 which now has more than 50 employees.

“I named the company Performance360 because I want our employees to excel in all aspects. We are a small BPM firm but we are committed to providing the best service to our clients,” Cubos said, in a previous interview. “I also want our company to be known as a family and Christ-centered BPO firm. In every sale we close, we say it is for Jesus,” he added.

Roles, award

Performance360 now offers multi-channel supports such as contact center services, virtual assistants, English as Second Language and web development for businesses and companies abroad.

Cubos was an awardee of the The Outstanding Cebuano Award for entrepreneurship in 2016.

He then became a co-chairman of CBM’s Cebu Digital Innovation Summit in 2017 and founder and immediate past president of Cebu Innovation Council.

Cubos also sits as one of the members of the board of trustees of CCCI from 2018 to 2020.

The CBM provides a venue for entrepreneurs, local and foreign investors, tourists and government to converge, get updates on innovation and trends, form and bind ties, as well as market and promote their state-of-the-art products, services and technology and to celebrate the best performers in Cebu’s business community.
