Chicano, Remolino win country's first gold, silver medals in 30th SEA Games

JOHN Rambo Chicano and Cebuano Andrew Kim Remolino snagged a 1-2 finish in the men’s triathlon event of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at the Subic Bay Boardwalk on Sunday, December 1, 2019.

Chicano improved his silver medal finish in the Kuala Lumpur Games and handed the Philippine side the first gold medal in the 30th SEA Games.

Remolino of Talisay City, Cebu bagged the country’s first silver medal after finishing next to Chicano in the 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike and 10-kilometer run race. (RSC)
