EXO'S Xiumin & Chen, TVXQ's Yungho and Changmin, and 'the Queen of Kpop' BoA is in Cebu

KOREAN pop or K-pop artist Chen and Xiumin of Exo, "The Queen of K-pop" BoA, and U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin of TVXQ recieved a warm welcomed from their cebuanos fans after landing at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, on Wednesday late evening, December 7, for their two-day concert in the Philippines.

The K-pop artists are slated to perform in this afternoon's concert dubbed as “Be You 2: The World Will Care,” December 8, at the Mactan Newtown open grounds.

It will be the first time that Cebuanos to witness the korean stars to perform in Cebu.

Before flying to Cebu, Xiumin invites his fans to watch the concern in english translation: "I hope you guys will join us a we perform for two days, as a tribute to the elderly," Xiumin added in Filipino "Kita-kita tayo EXO-Ls."

Meanwhile, Chen said in Filipino: "Salamat sa walang sawang suporta, see you there EXO-Ls, Mahal ko kayo."

"Magkita-kita tayo, Cassiopeia, Mahal namin kayo" U-know and Max Changmin said in a video message.

Fans turns to bestfriends like Noah Co, Renz Dimabayao, and Bijae Abe were patiently waiting for the arrival of the K-pop idols last night.

The three told SunStar that seeing their idols perfoming live on stage is once in a lifetime moment of their lives.

Co, Dimabayao, and Abe said that they have been a fan of the group for more than a decade, and together with their fandom they will support TVXQ, BoA, and EXO for the years to come.

"I'm just very thankful that we are finally meeting them here, in our home country, before we couldn't afford going out of the country to see them," Abe said.

"Seeing them perform live here in Cebu is dream come for the three of us," Dimabayao added.

The second leg of the concert featuring the same artists will happen at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Metro Manila on Friday, December 9, 2022.

Filipino artists such as Pilita Corrales, Ian Veneracion, Lady Pipay and Lukas Magallano will also serenade the cebuanos in the same concert. (EHP)
