TWO Filipino performers rocked the stage of Casino Filipino Cebu (CFC) during its tagline launching last Saturday.

Rufa Mae Quinto and Brian Termulo entertained the attendees, who witnessed the launching of the very first tagline of CFC: “Your one great experience.”

Termulo gave the attendees the “kilig” experience. He serenaded the audience with OPM (original Pilipino music) songs like “Sa Isang Sulyap Mo” and a medley of teleserye songs.

Termulo also performed “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur and “One Call Away” by Charlie Puth. He even invited some of his fan girls onstage to sing with him.

“We will give you a one-of-a-kind and unique experience,” said Termulo.

Quinto, whose mother is a Cebuana, thanked all the people who made the event possible and the audience. She gave fans their one great experience through her comedic acts.

“Thank you for the great experience... you are the one,” said Quinto.

Termulo and Quinto sang together the songs “Sometimes When We Touch” and “Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang.”

Quinto also performed the songs “Firework” by Katy Perry, “Titanium” by Sia and “Ocean Deep” by Cliff Richard. She also performed her own version of “Dadalhin.”

Like Termulo, she also invited her fans to perform with her onstage. Two lucky fans were able to sing Bruno Mars’ “Versace On the Floor” with the comedienne.

Meanwhile, CFC branch manager Ricardo Uy said that they released a tagline for CFC after many years in the business because he believes that everyone and everything has its own time.

Uy also explained the official logo of CFC.

The circle is a playing chip embellished with all suits of a playing card. The word “one” does not denote any number; it denotes a moment. The word “experience” means they offer an experience, the thrill, excitement and joy since they don’t sell any products and equipment.

“We want that experience to be always great and that we aim to deliver every day,” said Uy.

The heart symbolizes love, sincerity, emotion, kindness; it is a proof that CFC has a heart. The colors for the logo are black and gold because when it is combined, it produces a touch of class.

“Elegance with a heart,” said Uy.

Uy considers it CFC’s obligation to give great experiences.

CFC visitors can expect better shows and brighter stars in the future.

Quinto said she will be back at the CFC soon.

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
