Sunnexdesk

ARE you in love? Married? Pinaasa or heart broken kaya bitter? Walang labels? On the process of moving on? Happily single? Or single and ready to mingle? No matter who you are and your #status-in-life, art will be a way in which you can bask in the beauty of gugma, love.

A group of students from the University of the Philippines Cebu will be hosting a collective art exhibit entitled "Hinigugma", showcasing contemporary works on Philippine culture and tradition expressed through various media. Through their art, they are aiming to present to the public that love can be of many forms, shapes, and sizes - it can be our love for our significant other, our family, our environment, our fellow countrymen, our country, and God.

The event will run from May 12 to 26, 2018, and will be held at the 2nd floor of Palm Grass, The Cebu Heritage Hotel, located along Junquera Street, Barangay Kalubihan, Cebu City.

The exhibit will be officially launched on May 12, 2018 at 6 p.m.

The participating artists are Lirha Abraham Villacanas, Jay Lord Pujanes Romo, and Ave Rothe Marie Casas Mayol.

The public is invited to the art exhibit. You can bring your hinigugmas with you and share the experience together. Or you can enjoy the art pieces on your own, #selflove2018. It will open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free of charge. Spread the LOVE, spread #HINIGUGMA! (PR)
