IN PHOTOS: Reenactment of the First Baptism

ABOUT 700 people flocked to Plaza Sugbo in Cebu City Wednesday, April 14, for the reenactment of the First Baptism, which was done as part of the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines.

The reenactment, which started around 2 p.m., was performed by members of the San Diego Dance Company and was witnessed by church and city officials.

A Pontifical Mass to be led by Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines Most Rev. Charles J. Brown will be held at 4 p.m.
