Ayala’s Seda Hotel to open 3rd quarter

NEW name—familiar Pinoy hospitality! Ayala Land Inc.’s hotel brand, Seda, will welcome Cebuanos with its “proudly Filipino DNA” in the third quarter of 2018. This was announced by Seda’s senior group general manager Andrea Mastellone.

Located within the city’s prime financial district, Cebu Business Park, Seda is warmly familiar as the former Cebu City Marriott Hotel.

Seda, a homegrown chain, currently has eight other branches across the country, with Cebu being the largest in the Visayas. The others are Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Laguna, Quezon City and Taguig, with a resort hotel set to open mid-year in Palawan.

With prestigious interior design consultant Conrad Onglao at the helm, its strong features are a contemporary feel and, volume and flow of spaces. Guests will find a dramatic makeover in the rooms, with soothing earth tones and modern amenities. Likewise, the function and meeting rooms will remain a popular social and business hub.

But of course, like all Seda Hotels, Seda-Cebu will be displaying art pieces starting with no less than noted industrialist photographer Jaime Zobel de Ayala and sculptures by Ann Pamintuan.
