Calling all songwriters: ‘Demo-Crazy Live’ at Yolk Cafe

Sunnexdesk

SERVE your songs fresh at “Demo-Crazy Live” by 22 Tango Records this Feb. 22 at Yolk Cafe.

The event is open for all aspiring songwriters who want to have their original compositions be heard. “Make You Stay” by Vincent Eco and “Empty Sheets” by LOURDES were discovered first through “Demo-Crazy Live” before they became the popular and in-demand songs of today.

“Demo-Crazy Live” is a byproduct of 22 Tango’s online demo-of-the-week movement, “Demo-Crazy” which is an effort to build a strong music community in Cebu. This event creates an ideal opportunity for songwriters to willingly showcase their creativity and their music.

Performances during the event will be recorded live- with the output serving as demos which will then be considered for the next roll-out of 22 Tango’s online series, featuring up and coming songwriters in the city. So gear up and get ready to share your music! It’s about time for your songs to be heard.

You can stream songs from the previous Demo-Crazy campaigns on Soundcloud by looking-up and following @22tangorecords. Registration opens 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Only limited slots are available. (PR)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
