Choobi Choobi launches newest go-to outdoor dining place, Bukid Tres

Marymil M. Cabrera

NESTLED on top of Nivel Hills, Busay, just five minutes away from JY Square, Bukid Tres offers a relaxing city view, good food, and an atmosphere that will keep diners grounded amid the busy streets of Cebu City.

It serves Pinoy favorites such as lechon kawali, manok inasal, linagang baka, and, of course, Choobi Choobi’s signature dishes: Stan’s black pepper shrimp and the shrimp in a bag. All of its offerings are good for sharing—the favorite dining setup of Pinoys.

Inspired by a story of nostalgia, the name “Bukid Tres” is rooted in “Bukid Uno” and “Bukid Dos,” the famous hangout places in the ‘90s. With this revival, those who are familiar with these places would not want to miss the Bukid Tres experience.

The 5,705-square meter place is designed with traditional and modern Filipino-themed ambiance. The theme is evident through the fusions of materials seen around the place; 15 nipa huts as dining places, tree house, and repurposed container van as facade at the same time kitchen area. If one comes in a big group, an al fresco dining on its lower level is available.

Bukid Tres can accommodate 300 customers at the same time, and has 40 parking slots for vehicles.

Bukid Tres is open every day from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. (PR)
