Espina: Business as usual

Mila C. Espina

We are slowly recovering from Covid-19 and Typhoon Odette. The tourism and business sectors and the academe are gradually picking up broken pieces. Soon, we will have more face-to-face learning sessions, regular restaurant and hotel and business offerings, travel and festive celebrations.

The malls, movie houses and parks are back. The churches are still regulating their Lenten activities. The Department of Health still requires safety guards like masks and distancing. Cebuanos are cooperating.

I already received some media coverage invites for some products, travel packages and weddings, birthdays which prove that business and gatherings are back. We hope the trend continues because this will generate income and employment.
