Kekert: Globe works against fighting Covid-19 (Part 1)

Kristalle Kekert

SUPPORTING the connectivity needs of those at the forefront, Globe Telecom turns over a huge number of mobile phones to police, military and naval forces including select hospitals nationwide. As a response effort to Covid-19, the mobile phones are preloaded with a 30-day unlimited AllNet Call & Text to all networks without the need of having to worry about telecom expenses.

Globe has successfully raised and turned over a large amount to the PGH Medical Foundation Inc., which was gathered accordingly through the joint efforts of loyal Globe customers who gratefully donated their Reward points (equivalent to cash amounts). The amount totaled to an even bigger donation than the company’s initial pledge! As part of the company’s efforts in providing immediate aid to the medical frontliners at PGH, these funds are used to purchase much-needed testing kits, alcohol as well as complete sets of surgical masks, face shields and surgical gowns.

Every heroic deed counts and truly makes a difference as we continue fighting this battle.
