What’s the best thing about your pet?

“Although, generally a solitary creature, my hedgehog really identifies me as his owner and barely hisses at me when I reach over to pick him up. While some may think that hedgehogs are vicious creatures, they are actually pretty silly pets.”

What tip can you give people who want to be responsible pet owners?

“Always make sure that you give your hedgehogs ample space to live in. Since they’re mostly asleep during the day and like to burrow, it may seem like they don’t need space to run around but they actually do. They get bored during the night, so giving them lots of space to run around is ideal. Always give them multiple burrowing spots so they have more than one choice for lounging.”
