AFTER a year of working closely together, Samsung Electronics Corp. (Sepco) and AppleOne Mactan Inc. sealed their partnership on Jan. 21, 2021 to offer the latter’s residents a more inspired living experience.

The $1.3 million partnership entails the supply and installation of Samsung air conditioners, specifically the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VFR) solution through the brand’s new DVM-S units, in The Residences at Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort.

The VRF air conditioning system is a sophisticated smart solution for buildings that demand higher efficiency, individualized control and installation flexibility that ensures fresher and more comfortable indoor space, with smart and efficient operation, as well as easy maintenance and intuitive indoor air quality monitoring.

Together, the tech company and AppleOne Mactan (AMI) elevate the home and living experience of AMI’s residences, according to AppleOne Properties Inc. president and chief executive officer Ray Go Manigsaca.

“When we embarked on this project, we pledged to bring world-class living facilities and amenities to the region. Our partnership with Samsung mirrors this pledge," said Manigsaca.

The air-conditioning units go together with The Residences at Sheraton Cebu Mactan’s contemporary design and amenities that go beyond the expected comforts, offering an unparalleled world of luxury and convenience.

The Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort’s common areas and 281 rooms were also equipped with Samsung hospitality TVs and professional displays for a personalized in-room experience and at-home feel for its guests and residents.

“Samsung has always been at the forefront in leading innovations with its World’s First products. The trust given to us by our partners, particularly by the Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort and Residences, inspires us to continuously create superior products and services for our customers,” shared James Jung, Samsung Philippines president.
