ENJOYING your home bodyweight workouts? I bet you are! Maybe it’s time for an upgrade? From bodyweight-based workouts, perhaps you’re looking for something more challenging and perhaps, with even more variety? This article covers some home gym equipment you might want to consider for your home gyms.

Resistance bands. Resistance bands allow for elastic resistance for the muscles. These come in an array of resistances. You can always get a set of different resistances to get different intensities covered.

Jump rope. This one is really popular now with fitness influencers in social media. Jump ropes take up very little space. They come in different styles. Select one that suits your current ability.

Kettlebells. Kettlebells take up little space too, and once you have enough practice with it, you can do quite a lot of exercises using this piece of equipment.

Punching bags. Boxing is good exercise to develop cardiovascular fitness as well as coordination. Boxing equipment like punching bags and different bags are a fantastic way to get fit!

Adjustable dumbbells. These are quite the rage now. With a turn of the knob, you can select weights from five pounds up to a hundred pounds. Not bad for a piece of equipment that occupies three square feet at most.

A lot of people might want to get weightlifting equipment. This is really cool if you have the space but you also have to pay attention to the damage to your flooring. Having a home gym is not a substitute for getting quality coaching from going to a gym. Above all, make sure you are safe when you are doing your home workouts. Consult your physician before embarking on any exercise program, especially if you have a pre-existing condition.
