Utzurrum: Pianist Dr. Santamaria performs here Nov. 23

Chinggay V. Utzurrum

INTERNATIONAL concert pianist Dr. Ingrid Sala-Santamaria, with a popular quartet, and soprano Zsarie Vidal, will perform on Saturday, Nov. 23, 6 p.m. at the Sinulog Ballroom of City Sports Club Cebu.

The dinner-concert titled “Noche de Musica” will be presented by the Brothers of St. John for a truly noble cause: Construction of the Sugbo Mission House. Their vision is to have a city where young people can grow in their faith, and develop the best of their talents for the service of others. Their dream? To have a city where people can listen to God’s voice in their lives and to have a place where hope brings joy and help for the needy. No need to travel far! Cebu can be this city!

After 25 years here, the community of brothers has grown, and they now face two challenges: The formation of young brothers, and the apostolic mission. These require that they build a house soon, accessible to the people they want to serve. Thus, the Sugbu Mission House in Tabo-an, Cebu City.

Details of this mission will be expanded further during the dinner/concert on Nov. 23. Be there!
