OVER 100 personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) who contracted the novel coronavirus were discharged on July 29 from their isolation center in Barangay Taptap, Cebu City.

A total of 101 law enforcers were discharged Wednesday, July 29.

Cebu City Councilor Joel Garganera, the deputy chief implementer of Inter-Agency Task Force Emergency Operations Center in Cebu City, said a total of 511 police officers have contracted the Covid-19.

As of Wednesday, 322 police officers have already recovered from the disease. (JJL)
