AT LEAST 27 inmates of the Bureau of Management and Penology in Barangay Maghaway, Talisay City, Cebu were found positive for the coronavirus, the City of Talisay Public Information Office said in its Facebook page Monday, June 29, 2020.

The City PIO added the results came following a swab test conducted on inmates with influenza-like illnesses and severe acute respiratory infections on June 26, 2020.

BJMP Talisay City said the inmates who tested positive for the virus were already isolated. (RD)
