MORE than P8 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cebu City, Tuesday night, March 12, and early Wednesday morning, March 13.

Mambaling Police Office arrested 19-year-old Jonmarc Cardenas of Barangay Sawang Calero past 11 p.m. Tuesday night.

Seized from Cardenas were 7 packs of shabu weighing 200 grams with a street value of P1,360,000.00.

At 12:50 early morning Wednesday, Talamban police arrested a 24-year-old woman in Barangay Banilad in a buy-bust operation in possession of more than a kilo of shabu.

Vanessa Lauron of Barangay Carreta sold P7,031,000.00 worth shabu to a police poseur buyer when arrested.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Josylindro Getaruelas was arrested in a separate anti-illegal drug operation in possession of 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.

Charges in violation of the anti-illegal drugs law will be filed against the suspects. (AYB/Superbalita Cebu)
