3 minors held for sniffing drugs

AT LEAST three male minors believed to be members of Crips gang were caught sniffing substance believed to be shabu in a drug den in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Apas, Cebu City Thursday evening, February 2, 2023.

Apas barangay captain Virgil Cabigon said they will summon the parents of the minors.

Cabigon said he and the barangay tanods went to the area to look for a juvenile girl whom they will turn over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

He said when they found their target at the ground floor of the house, the latter informed them that her companions were having a drug session upstairs.

Cabigon said one of those apprehended is a leader of Crips gang.

The minors, whose names are withheld, will be turned over to the Second Chance Rehabilitation Center, while the pieces of evidence seized from them will be turned over to the Mabolo Police Station 4 for processing. (BBT/TPT)
