SOME P3.8 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by the police in separate anti-drug operations in Cebu City in eight hours.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27, the Regional Special Operation Group (RSOG) Central Visayas arrested Allan Torrefranca in a buy-bust in Barangay Labangon at 5 p.m.

He yielded 300 grams of suspected shabu amounting to P2,040,000.

Torrefranca refused to reveal who his supplier was, but operatives of the RSOG Central Visayas and Drug Enforcement Group Central Visayas agents believe his parents know where the illegal drugs came from.

In another buy-bust conducted by the Labangon Police Station on A. Lopez St. an hour later, Ronald Cuizon Monto, 35, was arrested for selling shabu.

Police confiscated P374,000 worth of illegal drugs from the suspect.

Johnny Rondina Liboon and Joshua Taneo Diez were arrested in a buy-bust conducted by the Mabolo Police Station at 1:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28.

The suspects, who are residents of the village, yielded some 200 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,360,000.

The four arrested persons will face complaints for selling illegal drugs. (From AYB of SuperBalita Cebu, LRC)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N.
