5 Cebu grads top civil engineer exam

FIVE Cebu graduates made it to the top 10 of the November 2021 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.

Cebu Institute of Technology-University’s Kamelle Apurado Legaspi placed third with a 92.05 percent rating while Jodane Estreba Paez (91.70 percent) placed fifth.

Frances Noel Bontia Carvajal of Cebu Technological University-Danao placed sixth with a rating of 91.5 percent.

John Philippe del Valle Dakay and Mathew Niño Go Dy, both of the University of San Carlos, placed eighth with a rating of 91.15 percent.

In all, 24 examinees made it to the top 10, with all spots shared except for the first and seventh place.

Rajiv Nooh Dalagan Amil of Ateneo de Davao University placed first with a rating of 93.25 percent.

The Professional Regulation Commission said only 2,374 out of 6,474 takers passed the exam. (CTL)
