6 new virus cases reported in Cebu

IN CEBU Province, six new Covid-19 cases were logged on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Cebu had the highest number of active Covid-19 cases in the region with 373.

Of its 6,144 total cases, 5,395 have already recovered while 376 have died.

In Cebu City, 45 of its 80 barangays no longer have active Covid-19 cases.

The city had a total 10,208 cases as of Friday, Oct. 24, but 9,329 of the cases had already recovered, leaving 197 active cases. (JJL / WBS)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N. Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
