95 lives improved by Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre medical mission

ROTARY CLUB of Cebu Port Centre successfully completed its 16th Rotaplast International Medical Mission held at Adventist Hospital–Cebu in cooperation with Rotary Club of San Francisco and District 7930.

The 16th Rotaplast Mission changed the lives of 95 beneficiaries: 51 cleft palate and 44 cleft lip cases, which is a record-breaking feat for the number of beneficiaries.

The mission started with the pre-assessment last Oct. 3 and ended on Oct. 12 with the post-operation.

The mission was led by Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre mission director Antonio “Anton” Florendo and chairperson Rodien E. Paca with Rotaplast counterpart medical director Rod Simonds and Rotaplast mission director Evelyn Abad.

Patients came from different cities and municipalities in the Visayas and Mindanao through the efforts of Abounding in Love and Rotary Club of Cebu Port Centre publications.
