THE Asilo de la Milagrosa’s Social Services Department is looking for the parents of Yve Heulidicy Quidlat.

The six-year-old girl was abandoned by her mother Ivy Rodriguez Quidlat of Soong, Barangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City at Asilo in Cebu City on Oct. 13, 2015.

Yve was born at Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City. Her father was not known.

The parents and immediate relatives of the girl are requested to appear at Asilo de la Milagrosa and look for social worker Risa Johanna N. Neri from Monday to Sunday at 8:00am to 5:00 pm.

They can also call Asilo de la Milagrosa’s telephone number: (032) 232-2443.

Failure to come to Asilo de la Milagrosa within a month would mean declaration of the child’s abandonment. The child can be adopted through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in pursuant with Republic Act 9523, which requires certification of the DSWD to declare a “child legally available for adoption.”
