Big-time drug personality falls in Tagbilaran

A 33-YEAR-OLD suspected big-time drug personality was caught in a drug bust past 8 p.m. Monday, September 17, in Barangay Cogon, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

The suspect, identified as Geoffrey Silao, yielded 117 grams of white crystals believed to be methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.

The contraband is worth P1.3 million, a Dangerous Drugs Board value.

Silao was arrested by the operatives of Bohol Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, Regional Special Operations Group-Central Visayas, Tagbilaran City Police Station, Druge Enforcement Unit and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bohol under the supervision of Superintendent Christopher Navida.

The suspect will be facing complaints for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (KAL)
