Bizman attending fiesta celebration shot dead in Aloguinsan

A poultry farm owner was shot dead in his residence in Purok 2, Barangay Tampaan, Aloguinsan town, midwest Cebu around 3 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Corporal Jose Sayson of Aloguinsan Police Station told SunStar Cebu that the victim identified as Gregorio Maambong Jr. was having a drinking spreee with his friends as they were celebrating a fiesta in their barangay when the gunman arrived and shot him multiple times.

Maambong succumbed to gunshot wounds in the head and body.

The suspect, who wore a red t-shirt and concealed his face with another shirt, walked casually towards his companion waiting on a Rusi motorcycle color red and black.

According to his wife, Maambong had no known enemy in their place, but her husband showed an unpleasant behavior when he got drunk.
