DREW Olivar, the blogger behind the infamous viral video in what appeared to be him mocking the deaf-mute, made a public apology via Facebook Live on Monday, September 17.

"Alam kong mali ako. Hindi ako magre-reason out. I'm sorry. Patawarin niyo po ko sa pagiging insensitive ko at sa pagiging childish ko."

The Philippine Federation of the Deaf made a statement earlier Monday stating that it was "offended" by the viral video.

Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson, who was also in the video, also gave a statement on her Facebook page two hours before Olivar's statement.

"I want to clarify as some are saying that this is a federalism video. It is not a federalism video. On my part, I will be more active in guiding Drew. I hope this will serve all. Thank you," she said.

This is not the first time the duo received flak from the netizens. Last August, during one of Uson's vlogs, Drew performed what they call as the "Pepe-dede-ralismo" dance supposedly to create awareness about federalism. (JBS)

THREAT. According to a Capitol consultant, the Cebu City Government is threatening to shut down the Cebu North Bus Terminal at the back of SM City Cebu (left) and the Cebu South Bus Terminal along N.
