Bogo City logs 12 new Covid-19 cases

BOGO City recorded 12 new cases of the coronavirus disease(Covid-19) Saturday, July 4, 2020.

The City Government of Bogo in a Facebook post said that 11 of the 12 cases were close contacts of patients who previously tested positive for Covid-19.

The 12 new cases came from the following barangays: Polambato (1); Cogon (2); Gairan (1); Sudlonon (4); and Taytayan (4).

The local government of Bogo City assured its constituents that the 11 close contacts were initially isolated even before receiving the results, as they were identified as close contacts during contact tracing.

Two recoveries were also recorded. Both patients, hailing from Barangay Dakit and Barangay Nailon, tested negative during the repeat polymerase chain reaction (PCR) Test.

As of July 4, Bogo City has 32 confirmed cases with 24 active cases, seven recoveries and one death. (RDR)
